Kids Ministries

At Community Bible Church, we offer a range of enriching programs designed to nurture the spiritual growth of children from ages 5 to 12.

Sunday School

Sunday School classes for kids aged 5 to 12 provide engaging lessons and activities tailored to each developmental stage, helping children understand biblical truths in a fun and interactive way. This program emphasizes learning through play and discussion, fostering a strong foundation in faith.

Kids Church

Kids Church meets on Sunday mornings at 11:45, where children participate in worship, Bible stories, and group activities that reinforce their learning. This program aims to create a welcoming atmosphere where children can encounter God and build relationships with their peers.

Trail Life-Boys

Trail Life USA is a Christ-centered outdoor adventure program for boys aged 5 to 18 that focuses on developing character and leadership skills through a variety of engaging activities. The program is structured into age-appropriate groups to ensure that boys learn, grow, and experience outdoor adventures in a safe environment.

Woodlands Trail (Ages 5-10)

  • Fox Patrol: Boys in kindergarten and first grade (ages 5-6) are introduced to Trail Life through fun activities and skill-building experiences. Overnight camping is done with a parent or guardian.
  • Hawk Patrol: This group includes boys in second and third grade (ages 7-8) who are eager to learn and engage in new challenges, typically camping with adult supervision.
  • Mountain Lion Patrol: Boys in fourth and fifth grade (ages 9-10) show increased independence and physical capability, allowing them to camp with peers while still requiring adult guidance.

As they progress, Trailmen can earn branch pins in various categories, such as Outdoor Skills and Life Skills, which contribute towards earning their Forest Award. The highest achievement in this program is the Timberline Award, which celebrates a boy's transition to the Navigators program.

American Heritage Girls

The American Heritage Girls (AHG) program offers a faith-based experience for girls that emphasizes character development, leadership, and service. The program is divided into age-specific groups to cater to the developmental needs of girls:

  • Pathfinder (Ages 5-6): This introductory group focuses on basic skills and values through engaging and fun activities designed for young girls.
  • Tenderheart (Ages 6-9): Typically for girls in grades 1-3, this group encourages teamwork and community involvement while continuing to develop foundational skills.
  • Explorer (Ages 9-12): For girls in grades 4-6, this group takes on more complex projects and activities, emphasizing personal growth, leadership, and service.

Throughout their journey in AHG, girls have the opportunity to earn badges in various categories, such as Arts and Crafts and Community Service, which not only recognize their accomplishments but also encourage them to develop new skills and serve their communities.

Good News Club

At Community Bible Church, our Good News Club is a ministry specifically for kids who attend Butte View Elementary, sharing the message of the Gospel with them in an exciting and engaging way. Partnering with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF), we focus on teaching biblical truths through fun games, interactive lessons, Bible stories, and crafts, all in a safe and welcoming environment that helps children develop their faith. We are actively seeking volunteers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of these children and would like to be involved in this important ministry. Whether you're experienced or new to working with kids, we'd love for you to join us in sharing the love of Christ with Butte View students.
