At Community Bible Church, we are proud to partner with Operation Christmas Child, a global initiative of Samaritan's Purse that delivers gift-filled shoeboxes to children in need around the world. Each shoebox is packed with toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and the love of Christ. These boxes provide joy, hope, and tangible expressions of God's love to children in some of the world's most challenging regions.

Operation Christmas Child is more than just gifts. Each child receiving a shoebox also has the opportunity to participate in The Greatest Journey, a 12-lesson discipleship program that teaches them about the gospel and how to walk with Christ. Many children and families come to know Jesus through this outreach, making a profound impact on entire communities.

Collection Point for Our Community

As a local collection point, Emmett Community Bible Church serves as a hub for individuals, families, and groups in the area to drop off their packed shoeboxes. If you're looking to participate, we'd love for you to join us in this life-changing ministry.

How to Get Involved:

1. Pack a Shoebox: Grab a standard shoebox or plastic container, and pack it with gifts for a child in need. Be sure to include school supplies, small toys, hygiene items, and maybe a note of encouragement or prayer.

2. Choose the Gender & Age: Select whether the box is for a boy or girl and choose the age range (2-4, 5-9, or 10-14).

3. Drop Off at Our Collection Point: Bring your packed shoebox to Community Bible Church during National Collection Week. We are located at 120 E 3rd St, Emmett, ID. Our collection hours will be posted in advance of the event, so stay tuned for more details.

4. Pray: Prayer is essential to this mission. We encourage you to pray for the child who will receive your shoebox and for the impact it will have on their life.

Important Dates

National Collection Week for Operation Christmas Child typically occurs in mid-November. Mark your calendars and be a part of this extraordinary outreach. As the collection week approaches, we’ll provide updated details on specific drop-off times here at Community Bible Church.
