Dear Members and Friends of Emmett Community Bible Church,
We are thrilled to share the latest progress update on our "Build To Serve" project, an endeavor that embodies our commitment to serving our community and spreading the message of God’s love. Thanks to the dedication and generosity of our congregation, we are witnessing remarkable strides forward.
In the recent phases of the project, significant milestones have been achieved. The irrigation and electrical conduits, vital components for the functioning and sustainability of our future church building, have been successfully laid and buried. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dan Wood, Bill Owens, John Morten, and Brian Brazil for their invaluable contributions of time and resources to this essential phase. Additionally, we are deeply grateful to Valley Pump for their generous donation of equipment, labor, and piping, which have played a pivotal role in advancing this aspect of the project. With their support, we are nearing the completion of this crucial phase.
In recent developments, we faced the challenge of excess dirt on our property, which, if left unattended, could have incurred significant expenses for removal. However, through the grace of God and the generosity of our community, a large portion of the excess dirt has either already been moved or is currently in the process of being relocated, all without any financial burden on our part. This is truly a testament to the power of prayer and community collaboration, reaffirming the unwavering support that surrounds our project.
Now, onto more great news: the pouring of the footers for our new church building has been completed! Despite facing delays due to inclement weather, our dedicated team persevered, waiting patiently for the ground to dry sufficiently to allow equipment access for digging and concrete pouring. After overcoming these challenges, we are thrilled to see this crucial phase accomplished, laying a solid foundation for our future sanctuary.
Looking ahead, our focus shifts to the preparation and pouring of the concrete foundation, a pivotal step in laying the groundwork for our future church home. Terry Gardner, our General Contractor, has been diligently coordinating with the excavation company and concrete specialists to initiate this phase. However, due to recent weather conditions causing muddy grounds, the commencement of digging the foundation awaits drier weather. We trust in divine timing and eagerly anticipate the moment when we can embark on this next stage of our journey.
As we navigate through the various phases of our "Build To Serve" project, let us remain steadfast in our faith and united in our commitment to realizing our shared vision. Together, we are building more than just a physical structure; we are constructing a sanctuary where hearts are nurtured, lives are transformed, and the light of God's love shines brightly.
We encourage you to continue offering your prayers, support, and enthusiasm as we press forward with renewed determination and unwavering faith.
Blessings,
Pastor Jonathon Phillips-Senior Pastor
