Dear Beloved Church Family,
We are delighted to share the latest developments on our church building project! With each passing day, we’re witnessing the transformation of our future church home, thanks to the hard work and dedication of our amazing volunteers and construction team. This new space is not just a physical structure but a beacon of hope and a testament to the faith and unity of our church family.
Current Progress
We are excited to announce that all of the block walls for the sanctuary have been completed! This is a significant milestone that sets the stage for the next phase of construction. We have also begun framing the walls on the north and west sides of the building. In the coming weeks, we will continue this process around the south side of the building before moving on to the interior walls.
To meet the necessary insulation requirements, there will be additional framing work in the sanctuary walls to achieve the required R-Factor. This step is essential for ensuring that our worship space is not only comfortable but also energy efficient, reflecting our commitment to creating a sustainable and welcoming environment.
The trusses have arrived on-site, and our dedicated team of men from the church has eagerly started installing them. This is a major milestone in the building process, bringing us closer to enclosing the building. It's a big step forward for the project and a tangible sign of the progress we're making toward completing our new sanctuary. The sight of these trusses going up is not just a symbol of construction but a reminder of the hard work, dedication, and faith that have brought us to this point. We ask for continued prayers for safety as this critical phase is underway, and we invite anyone interested to come by and witness this exciting moment in the project!
Utility Connections and Site Work
In addition to the progress on the building itself, we are pleased to report that Intermountain Gas Company was on-site this week to connect the gas line to the building. This connection is a critical step in making the building fully operational and will provide essential heating for the entire facility. We are incredibly thankful for the smooth and efficient completion of this task.
Dan Wood has been hard at work trenching and laying conduit for the fiber optic cable that will bring high-speed internet to our new church. This infrastructure is vital for supporting our future ministry efforts, including live-streaming services, facilitating online learning, and staying connected with our congregation.
Interior Design and Planning
A dedicated committee of ladies has been working diligently to choose the interior colors and finishes for our new church home. This includes selecting the colors for chairs, carpets, and walls, ensuring that every aspect of the space reflects warmth and hospitality. Their thoughtful decisions will help create an inviting atmosphere that feels like home for everyone who enters.
Their work goes beyond just choosing colors—it’s about crafting a space that encourages connection, reflection, and worship. We are so grateful for their vision and hard work, which will have a lasting impact on the overall experience of our church family and visitors alike.
Upcoming Work and Volunteer Opportunities
Looking ahead, there is still much to be done, and we need your help! In the coming weeks, we will continue framing the exterior walls before starting on the interior walls and finishing the sanctuary. As the framing is completed, we will continue installing the roof trusses, a critical component that will bring us one step closer to enclosing the building.
We also have plans to begin preparing the grounds around the church for asphalt. This involves leveling and grading the land to ensure a smooth, durable surface for our future parking lot. Landscaping and gardening work will follow, as we prepare the grounds to reflect the beauty and care we want to extend to our entire church community.
How You Can Get Involved
There are several ways you can support the project, whether you’re able to lend a hand in person or provide support in other ways:
1. **Pray:** We ask for your continued prayers for the safety of our workers, for wisdom in decision-making, and for God’s provision as we move forward. Pray that God would guide us in every step and that this building would be a place where many will come to know Him.
2. **Volunteer:** If you have skills in construction, landscaping, or even just a willingness to lend a helping hand, we would love to have you join us. We need assistance with building walls, cleaning up the site, sweeping, and general labor tasks.
3. **Support with Food and Drinks:** Volunteers are hard at work on-site, and providing meals or snacks is a great way to show your appreciation and keep everyone energized. Consider signing up to bring food or drinks during workdays.
4. **On-Site Prayer:** We invite you to visit the site and pray over the project. Your prayers for the building, the workers, and the future ministry that will take place in this space are invaluable.
Financial Support and Grants
We are actively seeking grants to help fund the remaining phases of the project. Please join us in praying that God would open the right doors and lead us to the resources needed to complete the building. Every gift, whether large or small, brings us closer to our goal of creating a beautiful, functional space for worship and ministry.
Looking Forward
We are so grateful for the unwavering support and prayers of our church family. This building project is more than just constructing walls and a roof—it’s about creating a place where people can gather to worship, grow in their faith, and serve our community. Together, we are building a legacy of faith that will impact generations to come.
Thank you for being a vital part of this journey. We look forward to sharing more updates as we continue to build our new church home!
