Trusses and Roof

Dear Church Family,

It’s been a while since our last update, and we are excited to share all the progress that has been made on our church building project! While there’s still work to be done, God has blessed us with steady advancement and the dedication of many volunteers.

Roof and Trusses
The roof on the sanctuary is halfway done, and work continues on the roof for the rest of the building. This has been a challenging phase, including delays caused by waiting for a critical bracket needed to install a beam supporting the trusses. Despite these obstacles, the trusses are fully in place, and the roofing progress is moving along thanks to the hard work of our team.

Parking Lot Progress
A significant portion of the parking lot has been graded, and road mix has been laid and packed to prepare for future use. Much of the curbing is also complete, shaping what will become a functional and inviting space for our church family and visitors. However, the asphalt will need to wait until next spring when the ground has had time to dry out.

Gratitude for Volunteers and Support
We want to extend a special thank-you to the incredible team of volunteers who have been working tirelessly on this project. Individuals like Terry Gardner, Joel Stromwall, Bill Owens, John Morton, Jeff Gardner, Ted True, Tim Luckey, Ron Lummus, Dan Wood, Pastor Phillips, and many others have given their time and energy to move this project forward. Your dedication is deeply appreciated and does not go unnoticed.

We are also incredibly grateful to everyone who has brought in food and drinks for the crews, especially on the weekends. Your generosity has been a tremendous blessing, providing not just sustenance but also encouragement to those working on-site.

Volunteers Needed
This project is a true labor of love, and we need continued support from our church family. Whether you have carpentry skills, can lend a hand cleaning up, or simply want to help in any way possible, there’s something for everyone to do. Your time and effort make a significant impact on the progress of this project.

Prayers and Financial Support
We ask for your ongoing prayers for the safety of everyone working on-site, for the resources needed to complete the building, and for the people in our community who are watching this project unfold. Pray that we can be a light to those around us, using this building process as an opportunity to reflect God’s love.

We are also at a crucial point where we need our church family to consider giving financially to the project again. Every contribution brings us closer to realizing our vision for this space—a place of worship, connection, and outreach.

What’s Next?
As we move forward, some of the next major tasks will include plumbing and electrical work. These essential systems will bring us closer to completing the interior of the building and preparing it for use.

We are so grateful for all the hard work, prayers, and support that have brought us this far. This project is about more than just a building—it’s about creating a space where God’s love will be shared, lives will be changed, and our community will feel His presence.

Thank you for being a vital part of this journey. Together, we are building more than a church—we are building a legacy of faith.
